What's with the chick and the egg?

Our Story 

Can you relate? .....The smell of burnt toast roaming through the kitchen, the milk spilled over the bench, kids on their devices till the very last second, then a mad rush out the door to try and get everyone to school or work on time! Pre-Halo mornings, were nothing short of hectic. Day to day living was getting taken over by doom scrolling, the constant pull of social media, the "just another minute on this level." It was just digital noise left, right and centre. We had lost the "moments" - the laughs, the real conversations, and the quiet stillness.

 

We wanted to bring that 80's, 90's Family lifestyle back, where kids could be kids, and the digital world isn't the forefront of our day.

​Halo came about from years of working on other internet networks. We knew it could be done a different way - one that helps with a family's well being rather than just offering the bestest, fastest speed.

​

Protecting our kids meant more to us than an afterthought. Most internet companies aren't solely focused on blocking bad content and filtering what kids see, or giving you the power as a parent to pause and schedule the internet at the push of a button, but Halo does.

So we are the New Kid on the Block! A company where our sole purpose is to support your digital world and not let it take over.

Branding

So, the egg and chick theme .....when it came to our branding, we had to have a look that steered away from the generic security shields or robots - one that has real meaning to you and to our family. We are different, so our marketing needed to match!

 

So in that hectic morning mayhem, we came up with the concept of the egg. With it's hard outer shell, protecting what matters most- it's baby chick.

 

And that's Halo Internet, a company that has reimagined the internet for families .......Plus who doesn't like a cute fluffy chick as a mascot!
